A Chinese tech Gionee was quite popular in India before the Xiaomi takes over. In India, there is hardly any presence of the company in the smartphone market nowadays. However, the company is still in the business a mysterious phone from Gionee listed on TENNA proves that. The TENNA listing did not reveal the model name while it has been surfaced with a model number “G7820LY” and it is a 5G Phone. Alongside the model number, the key specifications of the Gionee G7820LY surfaced. It packs mid-range specs probably it will be called as entry-level 5G phones. Whatever it is, let’s have an introduction to the phone as per the TENNA listing.

The whole device is built around 163.6×75.5×9.7 (mm) dimensions. While upfront it built around an HD+ resolution TFT display of size 6.5″ inch with a waterdrop notch on top. Further, the screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience. The camera configuration is not provided in the listing. However, we can expect an 8MP selfie camera sensor underneath the waterdrop notch. While at the backside, there it has a rectangular-shaped camera module with an LED flash built into it and the traditional fingerprint scanner. There we could also expect a 13MP main camera sensor and two 2MP auxiliary cameras of depth and macro sensors.
Like the camera details, the system under the hood remains under the warp. As per the rumours it is being speculated to have UNISOC T7510 SoC, a 5G chipset. As far as the configuration of the system is concerned, it configured in an octa-core system that runs on Android-based OS. It has 4X Cortex-A75 at 2.0GHz & 4X Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz CPU cores. Further, it bundled with IMG PowerVR GM9446 GPU and max of 8GB RAM. On the device, the system runs on Android Pie (9) based OS, while it has been fueled by a 5000mAh battery. An auxiliary 15W charging mechanism could be attached to the phone.
The phone appears in two colour options to choose from Blue and Gray. Besides the options, the phone will let you choose between three storage options configured as 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. However, these specs are unofficial we have to wait for further confirmations. With the appearance of this mysterious Gionee phone, it indicates the company still in the business.
