The flagship Vivo X60 series has finally been launched, now the company slew its focus to the mid-rangers. A leak has been suggesting the company is working on a cheaper version of the Vivo Y52s 5G. The handset has already been visited China Telecom website for certification under the model number “V2054A”. While the model number belongs to the Vivo Y31s 5G. Further going by the handset its a cheaper and trimmed down version of the Vivo Y52s 5G. Vivo Y31s 5G Features & Specs
At the upfront, the handset built around an FHD+ resolution LCD IPS display of size 6.58″ inch diagonal with a waterdrop notch on top. Underneath the notch, it houses an 8MP selfie camera sensor. While around the back, the handset has a square-shaped camera module with dual camera sensors and an LED flashlight built into it. The camera sensors are of a 13MP main sensor while it accompanied by a 2MP auxiliary camera sensor. The fingerprint sensor made its way to the right side of the handset built into the power key. The camera department is one of the key downgrades compared to the Y52s 5G.
Under the hood, the system of the handset has been powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 chipset. Going by the chipset it has 2X Kyro 560 Gold cores clocked at 2.0GHz & 6X Kyro 560 Silver cores at 1.7GHz while processed in an 8nm LPP architecture. Further, it bundled with X51 5G modem, Adreno 619L GPU and LPDDR4x RAM support. The system on the handset runs on OriginOS based on Android 11 while it fueled by a 5000mAh battery. The system is capable of charging the phone at 18W speed.
In terms of connectivity, it has 5G support, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi (dual band) and other required connectivity options.
Availability and Price
The handset is not officially available but expected to unveiled on this New Year’s Eve 31/12/2020. By the way, the handset will be available in two memory configured storage variants. 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB whereas the handset priced at Yuan 1598 (around ₹17,800) and Yuan 1798 (around ₹20,200) respectively.
