Micromax IN Note 1 Launched With 48MP Camera, 2 Years of OS Update
The dominance of Chinese smartphone in India is likely to end after the return of Indian smartphone maker Micromax. The company has introduced two brand new devices in the country. Both the phone’s feature and the price could put Xiaomi, Realme even Samsung to shame. Before the anti-china sentiments, Micromax was struggling to survive even on its mainland. However, the anti-china sentiment proves to be game-changer for Micromax. The company launched the phone in a brand new series debut Micromax IN. It includes Micromax IN Note 1 and 1b. Micromax IN Note 1 Features
Upfront, the phone built around an FHD+ resolution LCD IPS display of size 6.67″ inch with a hole-punch cut on the top centre. Underneath the hole-punch, there it has a 16MP selfie camera sensor. While around the back, there it has a rectangular-shaped camera module with an LED flashlight built into it. Further, the fingerprint scanner can be found at the rear side as well. The camera module embedded with quad-camera sensors of a 48MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera.
Under the hood, there it has an octa-core system from MediaTek Helio G85. It has been configured as 2X Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0GHz & 6X Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8GHz wich fabricated in the 12nm process. Further, it bundled with ARM Mali G52 MC2 running at ≈ 1000MHz. The system on the device running on stock Android 10 OS (2 years of OS update) while it has been fueled by a 5000mAh battery. Further, the device built with 18W fast charging mechanism.
As far as the connectivity options are concerned, the device has a dual SIM (nano dual standby) 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity. Whereas, the rest including a USB Type-C 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, USB OTG, and other required sensors including GPS, Gyro, compass etc.
Price, Storage, Availability
The company has introduced the phone in two storage options, configured as 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB. While the storage can be expanded through a micro SD card slot. Apart from the storage option the phone available in two colour options to choose from Forest Green and Silver. The company introduced the phone for a starting price tag of ₹10,999 for the base variant. Whereas, the 4GB+128GB model has been priced for ₹12,499 and available for purchase via Flipkart.
