Honor V40 Pro+ With Dimensity 1000+ SoC, 66W, 120Hz Display Arriving

The predecessor Honor V30 was launched in December last year, now the successor Honor V40 Pro+ is around the corner. To survive the competition Huawei and its subsidiaries continue to launch handsets even without Google Play service. Somehow, the US sanctions hunting Huawei in every possible way but the company still giving tough competition to other tech giants. Anyway, the Predecessor Honor V30 was announced in November and launched in December 2019. It almost the end of 2020 and there is no official confirmation about the successor Honor V40. However, we have managed to collect a few key information about the handset. Let’s discuss them below.

Honor V40 Pro+

Though its an Honor Smartphone the design of the handset is heavily inspired by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. A render of the handset have been around us tipping the newly adopted design and it looks premium and marvellous at the same time. This render could be for the Honor V40 Pro Plus as the 3C has certifies three handsets of the Honor V40 series. The handsets are included in the series are similar with the Huawei Mate 40 series. It includes Honor V40, V40 Pro and the V40 Plus. Our discussion is around the V40 Pro+ handset.

Honor V40 Pro+ Features & Specs (Rumored)

At the upfront, the handset has built around an FHD+ resolution waterfall curved display of size 6.72″ inch diagonal. Further, it has 120Hz refresh rate support and probably greater than 270Hz touch sampling rate. Besides, the screen has a punch cutout for dual selfie camera sensor much like the predecessor. While around the back the story of the successor is completely changed. At the rear, it has a circular shaped camera module with a quad-camera sensor while the LED flashlight built on the centre of the module.

At the time of reporting the camera specs are not known yet. However, 3C certification authority has revealed the handset is going have 66W fast charging support. Not only that, but the handset also going to have 45W wireless charging support. Under the hood, the system of the handset will be powered by the MediaTek dimensity 1000+ SoC.
