Moto Edge Plus to Clash With Samsung Galaxy S20 In India

Motorola is preparing the launch for Moto Edge Plus in India, which will clash with Samsung’s Galaxy S20. Back in April Motorola had launched its new flagship series Moto Edge globally. Now Moto Edge Plus is being prepared to clash against Galaxy S20 in India and will be Flipkart exclusive set to launch on May 19 this year amid coronavirus pandemic.

Moto Edge Plus Features and Specs

It is uncertain that Edge Plus going to have exact same features and specs as the global version. However, considering the global variant it features a 6.7″ FullHD+ HDR10 display which supports up to 90Hz refresh rate. The display of the device backed by an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch cut out for the front camera.

The device sporting a triple camera unit at the rear which consists of a 108MP Quad pixel primary camera sensor coupled with a 16MP ultrawide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens. While the front there is a 25MP selfie camera beneath the punch hole.

Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC cobbled with 12GB RAM(LPDDR5) and 256GB of internal storage(UFS 3.0). Running on Android 10 out of the box, pure stock android no skin on the top. In terms of battery capacity, it has a 5000mAh battery to power the device backed by 15W charging support as well as 15W wireless charging reverse charging compatible.

As far as the connectivity is concerned it includes 5G support, 3.5mm Audio jack, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5, and others.

Price & Availability

The phone will be Flipkart exclusive in India. While considering the price of the global variant it could be ₹75000 rupees in India.

Its price and premium features are a clear indication that it will clash with Samsung’s Galaxy S20. However, Xiaomi’s Mi 10 already present in the Indian market which also giving the same features at a lesser price.
