Motorola Moto G 5G Launching on November 30 With Snapdragon 750G

India to adopt 5G network soon in certain parts of the country. While 5G smartphone makers already shipping their 5G devices to India. Before Motorola, a few 5G ready smartphones already exist in the country. However, OnePlus Nord is the only handset offered in a budget segment. Motorola to add another 5G phone into the list of budget 5G smartphone in India. OnePlus Nord shipped with Snapdragon 765G while the Motorola Moto G 5G to have Snapdragon 750G. In comparison to the SoCs, both are quite identical. however, Snapdragon 750G wins the competition due to the support of hardware-assist virtualization. At the upfront, there the handset built around an FHD+ resolution LCD LTPS IPS display of size 6.7″ with a hole-punch at the top centre. Further, the display having 85.7% screen to body ratio with 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience along with the HDR10 support. Underneath the hope-punch there it has a 16MP selfie camera sensor. Whereas, around the back there it has a square-shaped camera module with triple-camera sensors and an LED flashlight built into it. The camera sensors are a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

Under the hood, there is has an octa-core 5G system from Qualcomm. It is Snapdragon 750G, has been configured as 2X Kyro 570 Gold at 2.2GHz & 6X Kyro 570 Silver at 1.8GHz processed in an 8nm process. Further, it bundled with Adreno 619 GPU and 6GB RAM. The system on the phone runs on Android 10 OS while it has been fueled by a 5000mAh battery with a 20W fast charging mechanism built into the phone.

As far as the connectivity options are concerned, it has 5G equipped network connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi. While the rest of the connectivity option including a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and others.

Price and availability

The company might bring the device herein India in two storage variants likely 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. Apart from the storage option, it has two colour options to choose from Volcanic grey and Frosted Silver. The phone will be available from November 30 exclusively on Flipkart. While it is being expected to priced at ₹24,999 for the base variant (4GB+64GB).
