Realme Race First Look revealed key details with Snapdragon 888, 64MP
The subsidary of BBK Electonics, Realme just teased a brand new series of flagship smartphone. A Realme official has stated Realme Race is just a code name the brand new series is super cool. The actual name of the series is yet to reveal. According to me the new series will be much like Vivo’s X60 series. Since both of the companies shares the same parent company. Anyway the Realme official further announced the brand new series will be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. For a reference a render of the handset have been surfacing for quite some time.
Realme Race Features and Specs (Rumored)
Around the handset a few rumors have been surfacing around the social media. Let me discuss few of them with you. Let’s start with the design, the handset reminds the OnePlus’s concept one handset based OnePlus 7T with leather back and disappearing rear camera capability. In the case of Realme Race it follows the Concept One’s philosophy but the disappearing camera functionality is nowhere so far.
According to some sources and the render of the handset suggest it likely to have a rectangular-shaped camera module with a main camera sensor of 64MP. Menwhile, the camera module to house a triple-camera sensor setup.
Under the hood, the system of the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset already been confirmed. Beside that the handset will be fueled by a dual cell battery further capable of charging the phone at 65Watt speed. Thats pretty much it for the Realme Race, beside that a few more leak also been surfaced.
The handset carries the model number “RMX2202” and its system runs on RealmeUI 2.0 based on Android 11 while it has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. For the storage it has 256GB of onboard storage. The following details must be from the top variant configured as 12GB+256GB. Further, a global live streaming from Realme will be take place on New Year’s Eve 31/12/2020 at 8PM (GMT+8). Most likely the new series will be unveiled. However, the has a tag line under “Leap to space”.
