The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has done with Redmi Note 8 series, the focus is on now Redmi Note 9. The year 2021 will be for 5G, Xiaomi bringing 5G technologies to its Redmi Note lineup. And this to debut with the Redmi Note 9 series. However, the company give you both of the options 4G as well as 5G with their new offerings. The company has scheduled to warps off from the Note 9 series on November 26. It already surfaced its key specifications online, recently Redmi Note 9 5G visits GeekBench.

Upfront, the device is built around an FHD+ resolution LCD IPS display of size 6.53″ inch with a hole-punch at the top left corner. Underneath the hole-punch, there is a 13MP selfie camera sensor. While at the rear the phone has a circular-shaped camera module with an LED flashlight built into it. The camera module packs a triple camera sensor, whereas the main camera sensor is a 48MP while two others remain under the warp.

Under the hood, the device has an octa-core system from Dimensiy 800U. As per the configuration, it has a base frequency of 2.0GHz CPU. That able to score 598 points on single-core benchmarking while it scored 1793 on multi-core benchmarking. Further, the system to be bundled with Mali G57 GPU and three RAM storage options such as 4GB/6GB/8GB while the secondary storage option will be there as well ranging from 64GB to 256GB. The system runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 OS. While the system is being fueled by a 5000mAh battery with a 22.5W charging mechanism built with the phone.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the phone has dual SIM supported 5G connectivity. Whereas, the rest of the options include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Gyro and others.

Release date and Availability

The company is scheduled for the launch date of the phone on November 26. However, the countdown already began on JD.com and will be released in India too.
