Back in June 2020, the Samsung Galaxy M31s spotted on GeekBench 5 benchmarking platform. Now the company has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy M31s is arriving on 30th July in India. The phone is coming with improved camera setup and 25W fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy M31s teased on Amazon India’s microsite. It is the 4th phone to launch under Samsung’s M30 series. The price and other information are not disclosed yet but previous leaks almost confirm its specifications. But before that let’s discuss the need for Galaxy M31s.
After the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M30, it gains a lot of popularity among Samsung lovers but fails to impress with performance and camera quality. Then the Galaxy M30s arrives it gains popularity more than the Galaxy M30 but still not improved in performance and camera quality it just arrived with an improved look. After that, the Galaxy M31 arrives the camera unit got better but the performance remains the same. But the upcoming Galaxy M31s will be different than its predecessor(s).
From the teaser, the Galaxy M31s resemble the Galaxy A51 from the upfront to the backside of the phone including a rectangular-shaped quad-camera unit. The display is now featuring a single punch-hole cut instead of Infinity-U notch. Its worth to mention that the rear fingerprint scanner is missing where it is shifted to? to under the screen or side mounted? Most probably it resides under the display as we have seen in the Galaxy A51.

Samsung Galaxy M31s Features and Specs
According to the previous leaks and this teaser combined, the phone is featuring an FHD+ SUPER AMOLED display. The display coming with a punch hole on the top center. Beneath the punch hole, there is a selfie camera sensor. While on the backside of the phone there you will find a rectangular shaped camera unit of quad-camera sensors. However, the full specs of the camera unit are yet unknown but it contains a 64MP main camera sensor.
Under the hood, there is the same Samsung’s Exynos 9611 octa-core processor. Further, the phone fueled by a massive 6000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and capable of reverse charging.
In terms of connectivity, the phone will have full fledge 4G LTE support. Alongside all the other connectivity options including USB Type-C connector and 3.5mm audio jack.
Price, Variant, and Availability
The Galaxy M31 is currently available at ₹17,499 for the base variant 6GB-128GB storage variant. The upcoming Galaxy M31s is expecting a similar price range. The upcoming Galaxy M31s is also expected to arrive in the same storage configurations as the Galaxy M31 having right now. The base variant may starts from 6GB-128GB to 8GB-128GB storage configurations. The launch is sat for on 30th July at 12 Noon (local time) the phone may be available for purchase from the same date.
