Samsung Galaxy M51 debut before the Official Launch with SD 730 SoC
After being in the rumours for a long time, Samsung has lifted the curtain up from the Samsung Galaxy M51. In India, we are been waiting for made in china alternative and Samsung is the only hope. Last week Samsung India had teased the Galaxy M51, confirming the assistance of the device beside a massive 7000mAh battery. But still no further details but “coming soon” status.
Whereas Samsung German has surprised us by unveiling all the details. Now we have everything about the phone we need to know, in Germen the phone is listed for pre-order. Samsung Galaxy M51 Features and Specs
Upfront, the device gets a similar treatment earlier we have seen in the Galaxy M31s. It builds around a Super AMOLED FHD+ resolution display of size 6.7″ with an Infinity-O punch hole and the speaker grill on top centre. Underneath the hole, there you have a 32MP selfie camera sensor that is capable of taking 4K videos at 30fps. Around the back, there you have a rectangular-shaped camera module consisting of quad-camera sensors aligned in an L-shape. The sensors are a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor a 5MP depth camera sensor.
Under the hood, there we have an octa-core system from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 SoC. Which combines, 2XKyro 460 Gold at 2.2GHz & 6XKyro 460 Silver at 1.8GHz CPU cores fabricated in the 8nm process. Further, it bundled with Adreno 618 GPU and LPDDR4x RAM alongside UFS 2.1 storage support. Furthermore, the external storage expansion support will be provided via a microSD card.
Though Samsung German has not revealed the name of the SoC, the theories had been made during its teaser is proving right. Perhaps the phone might have the Snapdragon 730 SoC at the helm. The system on the device runs on the OneUI 2.1 on the top of Android 10. While the device gets fuel from a humungous 7000mAh battery. That aided with 25W fast charging mechanism onboard.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the phone has dual 4G VoLTE support alongside dual-band Wi-Fi. The other sensor and connectivity include a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint scanner (side-mounted), etc.
Price and availability
The Galaxy M51 is available for EUR 360 (around ₹16,200 /$221) in Germany for the 6GB-128GB model. The phone has listed with single storage variant however its available in two colour options to choose from Black and Silver. Pre-order of the has already started, the shipping of the phone will start from September 11. In India, the phone could be launch before September 11, while the pricing could be higher including the tax and duties.
