Vivo V20 Pro Launched with Snapdragon 765G, dual selfie camera 44MP

Earlier this month, Vivo was spotted with two new smartphones at the various certification authorities. The process includes Vivo V20 Pro and the Vivo V20 SE, however, the vanilla Vivo V20 was also there. Now, the Thailand branch of the company has launched the Vivo V20 Pro. While the Vivo V20 was announced as well. The Vivo V20 SE is scheduled to launch on September 24, the vanilla Vivo V20 could launch alongside the V20 SE. For the September 24 launch event, the company has nothing to unveil extensively. As the V20 SE entire spec sheet has been leaked. And now today, the company announced the V20 alongside the V20 Pro. Hence, except the price and availability, there is nothing left for the forthcoming event.

Vivo V20 Pro Price and availability

In the Thailand branch of the company, the Vivo V20 Pro has been launched for TBH 14,999 (around ₹35,300/$480) and oped for pre-order. The phone has a storage configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. While available in three colour options to choose from Midnight Jazz Black, Moonlight Sonata white and Sunset Melody Blue. The shipping of the phone will begin from September 30, after the launch of the rest two Vivo V20 series phones. Whereas, the Vivo V20 SE alongside the Vivo V20 will be launching on September 24.

Features and Specifications

Upfront, the device is built around an FHD+ resolution Super AMOLED display of size 6.44″ inch. Besides, the screen has a notch on top housing two selfie cameras. Further, it has a 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience built on the HDR10+ compliant technology, while the fingerprint scanner placed underneath the display at the bottom. Beneath the north, the phone has a dual set selfie camera that combines a 44MP main sensor which accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Around the back, it has the design philosophy from Vivo X50. It has a rectangular-shaped camera module, that combines triple-camera sensor and an LED flash. The sensors on the module are a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

Under the hood, there it has an octa-core system from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G at the helm. That configured in 4X Kyro 475 Gold CPU at 2.2GHz & 4X Kyro Silver CPU at 1.8GHz fabricated in the 7nm process. Besides, it bundled with Adreno 620 GPU and LPDDR4x RAM alongside the UFS 2.1 storage support. The system on the phone runs on Funtouch OS 11 based on the Android 10. While it gets fuel from a 4000mAh battery that combined with 33W fast charging mechanism which draws power through a USB type-c cable. Furthermore, for the internal cooling, the system is integrated with vapour chamber liquid cooling for maximum performance.

At the connectivity side, it has the sub-6GHz 5G band support and Wi-Fi 5. Whereas, the rest of the connectivity including USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0. Fingerprint scanner and the necessary sensors including the GPS, Gyro, Compass, etc.
