Last week, the entire specification sheet of OPPO A15 was leaked before its launch. Now, the company has been finally launched the OPPO A15 in India. The leak was almost revealed everything about the device except for the price and availability. This device not an entry-level neither a mid-ranger, this simply a one step up from an entry-level segment. The phone offers MediaTek Helio P35 SoC at the helm while it fueled by a 4230mAh battery.
Usually, competitors like Xiaomi and Samsung offers more value than this configuration on the OPPO A15. Xiaomi offers a more powerful CPU, more battery, faster charging, and more memory on their Redmi 9 Prime. Whereas Samsung offers more battery and similar performance around the same budget.

OPPO A15 Features
The features of OPPO A15 is already known, let’s compare with its competitors. In terms of pricing, the biggest rival is none other than the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime. Both the A15 and Redmi 9 Prime offers LCD panels around the same size. The Redmi 9 Prime has an advantage it provides FHD+ resolutions while the A15 offers HD+ resolution display.
In terms of photography both the device are having almost the same configuration. On the A15 there it has triple-camera setup around the back. While the Redmi 9 Prime has quad-camera setup at the back. At the front, the Redmi 9 Prime has more pixels, there it has an 8MP selfie camera sensor. Whereas, the A15 has a 5MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, there is a huge difference in performance. The A15 has Helio P15 while the Redmi 9 Prime has Helio G80. Both the device running on Android 10 OS underneath their respective custom skins ColorOS 7.2 and MIUI 11 out of the box. The phone provides 4230mAh battery, usually, at the point, most of the competitors have 5000mAh battery. Beside the 4230mAh battery, it has a regular 10W charging mechanism. At least it should have 15-18W charging mechanism.
Price and availability
The phone has launched in India for a price tag of ₹10,990. This does not seem to be justified as the OPPO A15 offers 3GB+32GB memory for this price point. Further, it offers two colour options to choose from Dynamic Black and Mystery Blue. Soon the phone will be available for purchase via Amazon India. As of now, there is no info about offline availability.
