Apart from the big tech giants like Xiaomi, Realme Tecno slowly grabbed our attention for a long time. Tecno is one of the subsidiaries of Transsion Holdings alongside the Infinix. Back in June this year the company had unleashed Tecno Spark Power 2 in India under the ₹10000 price tag. The phone had offered great value for money experience in the country among the consumers. Now, the company is preparing for another launch Tecno Spark Power 2 Air to debut tomorrow by 12 noon in India. The phone alleged of being a slightly toned-down version of the predecessor Spark Power 2.
The company has lifted the curtain by setting up a mico-site on Flipkart for promotional purpose. The features of the phone have revealed. In shorts, it includes a 7″ inch huge display, a single charge can give 4 days of backup, and quad-cameras around the back. Further, no details have been provided by the company. But the tradition of the Tecno family is very simple to understand. “Power” stands for mid-range like features while the “Air” represents slashed down memory. Tecno Spark Power 2 Air Features and Specs
At the upfront, there you will have an HD+ resolution LCD display of size 7″ inch with a waterdrop notch and the dual speaker grill on top and one at the bottom. Underneath the notch, there you could have an 8MP selfie camera sensor supported by two LED flash resides at the shoulder. Further, the basic AI enhancement could be there for AI beatifications. Around the back, there you will have a vertically aligned camera module of quad sensors along with the LED flash. Further, the biometric scanner will be there to accompany the camera module. The quad sensors could include a 16MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera and an AI camera.
Under the hood, there could have the same SoC used in the Spark Power 2. That was MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22, configured in octa-core system of Cortex-A53 cores at 2.0GHz. Further, fabricated in the 12nm process while bundled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 4GB RAM. Spark Power 2 Air likely to have 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage, besides the external storage expansion support. The system on the phone runs on HIOS 6.1 based on Android 10. While it gets fuel from a massive 6000mAh battery that draws power through a micro USB 2.0 cable. The Power 2 has 18W fast charging mechanism, whereas the Power 2 Air likely to have 10W charging mechanism.
At the connectivity side, it includes dual 4G LTE/VoLTE, micro USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, single-band Wi-Fi, etc.
Availability and Price
The company releasing the phone by tomorrow for an open sale. The Power 2 Air is expected to be priced less than the Power 2, that is available for ₹9999 (around $136). According to some source, the phone is to be priced around ₹1000 less than the Power 2. That translates the priced under ₹9000.
