Earlier, Vivo has announced Vivo X51 in the Europian market. Now it has been silently announced two Vivo devices in mainland China namely Vivo Y3s and Vivo Y30. Going by the Vivo Y3s – it is a mid-range smartphone equipped with Helio P35 and 128GB storage. To survive in the crowded budget smartphone segment tech giants like Vivo, Xiaomi and Realme offer more storage to their entry-level as well as to their mid-rangers. Vivo Y3s Features
The whole device is built around 159.4 x 76.8 x 8.9 (mm) dimensions while it weighs around 190g. At the upfront, the phone is built around an HD+ resolution LCD IPS display of size 6.35″ inch with a waterdrop notch on top. Underneath the notch, there it has an 8MP selfie camera sensor that capable of taking 1080p videos at 30FPS. While around the back, it has a vertically aligned camera module, an LED flashlight and the fingerprint scanner. The camera module consisting of dual camera sensors of a 13MP main camera sensor and an auxiliary 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood, there it has an octa-core system from MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. That has been configured as 4X Cortex-A53 at 2.3GHz & 4X Cortex-A53 at 1.8GHz CPU cores fabricated in the 12nm process. Further, it bundled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU and LPDDR4x 4GB RAM. The system on the phone runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9. While the system is fueled by a 5000mAh battery that draws power through a 10W charging mechanism built into the phone.
As far as the connectivity options are concerned, it has dual-SIM (nano) supported 4G LTE and single-band Wi-Fi connectivity. Whereas, the rest of the connectivity option including a MicroUSB 2.0 port, USB OTG, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and other required sensors including GPS etc.
Price, storage, and availability
The phone has been introduced in its mainland China, as of now no further information about the availability outside China. The company offers the phone in a single storage option configured as 4GB+128GB. Besides the storage, it let you choose between three colour options Deep Blue, Blue, and Red. As per the price tag, it has been offered for CNY 1199 (around ₹13,200) and available across the country.
