Samsung Exynos 1080 on Vivo X60 Impressive Performance Test Result
It has already been confirmed the Vivo X60 Pro to arrive with Samsung Exynos 1080. Now in the latest development the handset with the Exynos 1080 already makes its appearance on GeekBench. Going by the handset, it will be the successor to the Vivo X50 series. Meanwhile Vivo X60 Pro is the middle one among the three siblings. The handset will feature an FHD+ resolution 90Hz display, all-new OrignOS based on Android 11, 33W fast charging and many others.
Samsung Exynos 1080 Specs
Coming down to the chipset, it was announced way back in November this year. The chip itself is the successor to the Exynos 980 and integrated with 5G modem. Further, the Exynos 1080 become the first chipset of the South Korean giant built on 5nm EUV FinFET processing technology. The chipset built on an ARM Cortex CPU architecture. Whereas, it has four ARM Cortex-A78 power cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
The CPU core cluster arranged in such a manner that one of Cortex-A78 clocked at 2.8GHz while the other three Cortex-A78s are clocked at 2.4GHz. Whereas, the 4X Cortex-A55s are clocked at 2.0GHz. Further, in the GPU department, it bundled with Mali-G78 MP10 GPU. While in the memory department the chipset got the support of the latest LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 standers as well alongside the UFS 3.1 secondary storage type.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the chipset supports both the true 5G mmWave and the Sub-6GHz standard bands. Besides, it integrated with Cat.18 LTE networking. Furthermore, the other connectivity including Bluetooth 5.2, 4K videos at 60FPS, up to 144Hz refresh rate and more.
Now, the GeekBench test result of the Vivo X60 Pro surprises the Samsung fans. The handset has managed to score 896 points on single-core CPU tread. While on multi-core it has obtained 3137 points. This chipset is made for upper mid-range handsets and it already beat the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 benchmarks.
