After India restricted its policy for China, it may help Indian smartphone makers to survive in the market. Micromax is one of the companies which was almost vanished due to the high competition of tech giants. Though the company alleged rebranding Chinese smartphones, it could not survive even in the entry-level segment. In the latest development, Micromax spotted on GeekBench listing carries a model number “Micromax IN 1A”. Also, the company has an announcement of turning back into the smartphone market.

What’s inside Micromax IN 1A?
At the GeekBench listing, the phone has managed to score 903 at single-core while it scored 4326 with multi-core CPUs. The system running on this device has an octa-core CPUs with a base frequency of 2.3GHz. If we pay close attention to these numbers, it is no other than the MediaTek’s Helio G35 SoC at the helm. The system further bundled with 4GB RAM and running on Android 10 based OS. As of now, there is no further info about the display or battery or the cameras.
What to expect?
The phone will have direct competition with Xiaomi Redmi 9 Prime, as it has 4GB RAM and priced ₹9,999. The upcoming Micromax IN 1A is expected to price between ₹7,499 to ₹8,999. Followed by the competitor, the IN 1A is expected to have FHD+ resolution IPS LCD display of size around 6.5″ either with hole-punch or dewdrop notch.
It is tough to guess about the camera department as the camera sensors are now cheaper than before. With the main camera of 13MP sensor, the smartphone makers could combine 2MP macro sensor or a 2MP depth sensor to make the phone a bit eye-catchy.
To survive in this huge competition, the phone needs at least 5000mAh battery alongside 15-18W fast charging mechanism. The GeekBench listing almost confirmed the SoC under the hood, it is none other than the Helio G35. Hence, the will have dual SIM supported 4G LTE alongside dual-band Wi-Fi.
