OnePlus 9E Arriving alongside OnePlus 9 & 9 Pro w/ Snapdragon 865 SoC
Form the flagship killer to midrange OnePlus has done the craziest thing in 2020. Another crazy thing from OnePlus is around the corner as a 33W wall adapter has been certified by TUV Rheinland. Let’s get into the main point, the OnePlus 8 has 30W rated power adapter whereas the OnePlus 8T has 65W rated power adapter. Then why there is a need for a 33W rated power adapter to be certified? Either the company is working on the successor of the OnePlus Nord or the OnePlus 9E. We cannot get into the conclusion by just looking at the power adapter.
OnePlus 9E is Around The Corner
According to me, the chances are very high for the sequel of the OnePlus Nord. In the mid-range category, the OnePlus Nord was a huge hit among the OnePlus Fans. Much like Samsung OnePlus could rename its Nord series to OnePlus 9SE or just OnePlus 9E or Nord SE. Leave it to the OnePlus to decide whatever they like. The company working on a mid-range project is clearly visible from the TUV Rheinland certification.
Going by the handset OnePlus 9E, it will be accompanied by its two siblings OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The company is likely to follow the same tactics from Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The handset 9E will not be a lite version or trimmed down version of the OnePlus 9 Pro rather it will create or replace the Nord lineup with a brand new series.
According to some rumours, the handset 9E will be powered by Snapdragon 865. Whereas, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset. Moreover, the OnePlus 8T will share some of its hardware parts with the 9E lineup. Let’s wait for the few more leaks to have a complete understanding of the handset. Anyway, the launch of the new series is not happening in the first month of 2021. Rather the series expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2021.
