A week ago Realme had teased an entirely new Smartphone series. But the teaser did not reveal the needed details regarding the phone. The phone is being speculated to be the Realme X3 Pro, as a new model number RMX2121 spotted on TENNA certifications. Finally, Realme had reveled the new series as Realme V, while the Realme V5 is the first phone from the series with a fresh look. The phone goes official from today in China. However, there is no further information regarding the global version. But it could be made to India like the Narzo series as it is an affordable 5G phone. The sibling company Oppo recently introduced with the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC which makes 5G more affordable as well as widely accessible. The same SoC is used in the Realme V5 5G with the same purpose.

Realme V5 5G Features and Specs
Starting from the upfront, there you will find an LCD display of FullHD+ resolutions of size 6.5″ inch which having a punch hole on the top left. Beneath the punch hole, there is a 16MP selfie camera sensor. While at the backside of the phone, the device gets a refreshed look with matt glass finish. Further, there is a camera unit of Quad-Camera sensors aligned in an “inverted L” shaped along with the LED flash. While the system fueled by a 5000mAh battery which supports 30W fast charging onboard.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, it has SA/NSA Dual 5G mode support alongside all the network backward incompatibilities. Further, connectivity options including USB Type-C connecter, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and all other standard connectivity and sensors.
Price, variant, and availability
The price is not revealed yet, however, an e-retail uses CNY 9999 as the place holder for the price for the future update. The actual price of the phone could lies between CNY 1699 (roughly ₹18,200) to CNY 1799 (roughly ₹19,200) for the base variant 6GB-128GB.
However, the phone has two storage variants 6GB-128GB and 8GB-128GB storage configurations. Alongside three color options to choose from Blue, Breaking Light, and Silver Winged Boy. According to the source, the sale of the phone will begin on Aug 3, 2020, onwards.
