Samsung Galaxy F41 is gearing up to launch on October 8: Exynos 9611?

A few days back, the South Korean giant had confirmed the existence of a new Galaxy smartphone series. Rumours surrounding suggesting the new Galaxy series to be a camera-centric smartphone. Now, the company has shared a glimpse of the phone through a microsite on Flipkart. The new Galaxy series debut as Samsung Galaxy F41 sporting triple camera sensors and the fingerprint scanner around the back. Apart from the existence, the company has revealed the launch date and that is scheduled on October 8 at 5:30 PM IST this year. As of now, the features of the phone is under the warp, while the phone reminds the previous Galaxy M30s in terms of design philosophy.

Upfront, the device is built around an FHD+ resolution super AMOLED display of size 6.4″ inch with an Infinity-U notch at the top centre. Underneath the notch, there you could have a 64MP selfie camera sensor or more than a 32MP sensor. Around the back, there it has a rectangular camera module consisting of an array of triple camera sensors vertically aligned and an LED flash. The rear camera module could combine a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. There is no need for the depth/bokeh sensor as it can be done through software optimization.

Under the hood, rumours are suggesting it has the Exynos 9611 SoC at the helm. Since the phone is a camera-centric on a budget Samsung prefers the Exynos 9611. As it can support 64MP single camera or 16MP+16MP dual sensors simultaneously. As far as its ability is concerned, it has the ability of encoding or decoding videos at 120FPS of 4K videos. For encoding and decoding, it uses HEVC(H.2650) and H.264 profiles with VP9.

Hence, Samsung opted for this SoC to utilize its full potentials. Further, it bundled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and LPDDR4x RAM alongside the UFS 2.1 storage type support. The system on the phone will be running on the latest OneUI 2.5 while it fueled by a 6000mAh battery. That will draw power through a USB Type-C port, while the charging tech is under the warp. Most of the cases Samsung has shipped Exynos 9611 with 15W fast charging mechanism while it is expected to have 25W charging support.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the phone will have dual 4G LTE support with Wi-Fi 5. Whereas, the rest of the connectivity options could be included as in the Galaxy M30s has.

Price and availability

Though the full specifications have not revealed, the tipsters already have an assumed price for the device. And it is expected to arrive under the ₹15,999 price tag for the 6GB+128GB storage variant. As of now, the phone surfaced with Forest Green colour option. It is expected to add two more colour options as well as 8GB RAM variant. The launch has been scheduled on October 8 at 5:30 PM IST, will be streamed on the official Samsung India social media handles.
