Last month, the Indian branch of OPPO had unleashed the Oppo A53 in the country. The exact model has introduced in China with a different model name, debut as OPPO A32. Now, the Indonesia branch of the company has announced the OPPO A53 as well as OPPO A33 in the country. The features of the Oppo A53 is already known. However, the Oppo A33 shipped with a slightly toned-down version of the Oppo A32 as well as Oppo A53.
The difference between the A53 and A33 lies on the memory configuration and in the optics department as well. The A53 shipped in single storage option i.e 6GB+128GB. Whereas the A33 configured with much lower memory compared to the A53, it has 4GB+32GB storage. Thanks to the storage expansion support, with a dedicated microSD card slot external storage can be expanded up to 256GB. While in the optics department, the A53 has a 16MP selfie camera sensor. Whereas, the A33 has an 8MP selfie snapper. While both the phones share the same configuration in the rear camera department.

OPPO A33 Features and Specifications
Upfront, the phone is built around an HD+ resolution IPS LCD display of size 6.5″ inch with a punch hole at the top left corner. Further, the screen has 90Hz refresh rate support and an 8MP selfie camera sensor underneath the punch hole. Around the back, the phone has a rectangular-shaped camera module consisting of an array of triple cameras vertically aligned and an LED flash. The camera module combines a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC. Further, bundled with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB RAM. The system on the phone runs on the ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 out of the box. While it gets fuel from a 5000mAh battery that draws power through an 18W fast charging mechanism.
As per the connectivity, the phone has dual 4G LTE/VoLTE connectivity alongside the Wi-Fi 5. The rest of the connectivity includes a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and other required sensors including GPS, compass etc.
Price and availability
The phone has a single storage variant of 4GB+32GB memory while offered in two colour options Moonlight Black and Mint Green. The phone priced at IDR 9,999,999 (around ₹5000) will be available from September 29.
