After the successful launch of the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro in India in the last week. Now, the company preparing the launch of Relme 7 and the brand new Realme 7i in Indonesia on September 17 this year. The company had teased an official promo in the country, revealing the launch date and name of the devices. The surrounding rumours have presumed the vanilla Realme 7 will share the same specifications as Indian Realme 7. However, the Realme 7i has spotted in a leak revealing a complete set of new specifications.
That slews the development towards the toned-down version of the Realme 7. The leak has also revealed the render of the Realme 7i, that is quite identical to the Realme 7 in the design aspects. The Realme 7 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button whereas the 7i has a rear fingerprint scanner set up. In Indonesia, the company is likely to skip the Pro version, while the vanilla version will be the top of the line. Let’s have an introduction to the Realme 7i below.

Realme 7i Features and Specifications
Upfront, there we have an HD+ resolution IPS LCD display of size 6.5″ inch with a punch hole at the top left corner. Besides, the screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience alongside a 90Hz refresh rate. Underneath the punch hole, there we have a 16MP selfie camera sensor. While around the back, there we have a vertically aligned camera module and the biometric scanner. The camera module consists of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP monochrome sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
Under the hood, we have an octa-core system of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC. That configured in 4XKyro 260 Gold at 2.0GHz & 4XKyro 260 Silver at 1.8GHz CPU core fabricated in the 11nm process. Besides, it bundled with Adreno 610 GPU alongside 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The presence of external storage support is yet to be known. The system of the phone runs on Realme UI on the top of Android 10. While it draws power through a 5000mAh battery that has 18W fast charging mechanism built on SuperDart technology.
On the connectivity side, there we have dual SIM 4G LTE support and Wi-Fi 5. The other concerned connectivity includes a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, and other sensors including Gyroscope, Compass, GPS etc.
Price and availability
The price of the Indian version of the Realme 7 is starting from IDR 3013900 (₹14,999) for the 6GB-64GB model. Indonesian Realme 7 is expected to cast less than the Indian price. While the price for the Realme 7i is expected under IDR 2400000.00 for the 8GB-128GB model. The render has revealed the phone offering two colour options Forest Green and Mist Blue. The launch has been scheduled at 13:07 WIB on September 17 this year.
