POCO X3 NFC Launched with 120Hz display, Snapdragon 732G SoC
Last month, the company had teased the global variant POCO X3 NFC. The launch was scheduled for September 7, now been unleashed with the same configuration we have reported earlier. It was the latest and brand new POCO device to be joining the POCO X family. The last phone from the POCO X series was a rebadged version of the Redmi K30 which was launched in the last year. Its been a long time after a real POCO phone is made its debut, the POCO X3 NFC launched.
At the helm of the phone, it has the recently launched Snapdragon 732G SoC. This chip is considered the most powerful chip among the Snapdragon 700 series. The chip is designed to deliver realistic gameplay for midrange smartphones. It ships with a 4th GEN AI engine that leads to a significant performance boost in the overall performance. It bundles Kyro 470 CPUs which gains intense computing and the upgraded GPU helps render graphics quickly that increase in frame rate as well as smoothen the visuals.

POCO X3 NFC price and availability
The company launched the phone in two RAM and storage variants alongside two colour options. The variants include a 6GB+64GB model and a 6GB+128GB model available in Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue colour options. The base model is priced at EUR 299 (around ₹19,900/$270) whereas the top model is priced at EUR 269 (around ₹23,300/$318). The phone will go on sale from September 8 with an early bid. The initial bid is valid until September 11. In the early bid the POCO X3 NFC launched with a price tag:
- 6GB+64GB – EUR 199 (around ₹17,300/$235)
- 6GB+128GB – EUR 249 (around ₹21,600/$294)
The phone will be available for purchase around major global online retails like Amazon, AliExpress, Gearbest, Mi.com etc.
Features and Specifications
Starting from the upfront, the device is built around an FHD+ resolution display of size 6.67″ inch with a punch hole at the top centre. Besides, the screen backed by a 120Hz refresh rate alongside the 240Hz touch sampling rate and DynamicSwicth (dynamic frame rate). Further, it has a 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience and HDR10 complaint display around a glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Underneath the punch hole, there we have a 20MP selfie camera sensor. Around the back, there we have a circular-shaped camera module consisting of four camera sensors and an LED flash. The camera sensors are a 48MP main SONY IMX682 sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor (119° field of view), a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
Under the hood, there we have an octa-core system from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G SoC. That configured at 2XKyro 470 Gold at 2.3GHz & 6XKyro 470 Silver at 1.8GHz CPU cores fabricated in an 8nm process. Besides, it bundled with Adreno 618 GPU alongside LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage type support. The external storage expansion support through a micro SD card is provided with a 3-in-one card slot. The system on the chip runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10. While it fueled by a 5160mAh battery with 33W fast charging mechanism onboard.
At the connectivity side, the phone has Global 4G LTE support via Snapdragon X15 LTE modem alongside the Wi-Fi 5. The rest connectivity includes a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Fingerprint scanner (side-mounted) and the necessary sensors including Gyroscope, Compass, GPS etc.
