After Vivo Y31s, OPPO was spotted at GeekBench with a handset powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 SoC last week. The handset was bearing the model number “PEHT00 / PEHM00” and it bongs to the OPPO A93 5G leaked on January 14 with key specs. Now the company finally warped off the curtain from the handset and its been officially announced in China. Moreover, the handset is available for pre-order in China. Going by the handset – It is a midrange 5G handset powered by Qualcomm’s 400 series 5G equipped chipset. The last leak did not reveal the handset completely, now we have everything we care about including the price tag. That being said let’s move onto the specification part below.
OPPO A93 5G Price and availability
The company brought the handset in three different colour options namely Elegant Silver, Aurora and Dazzling Black. Meanwhile, the handset is available in single storage variant configured at 8GB+256GB while it is available for pre-order at Yuan 1999 (around ₹22600) around the major Chinese e-commerce. The handset will be released or officially be unleashed on January 20.
Features and Specs
At the upfront, the handset is built around an FHD+ resolution LCD LTPS display of size 6.5″ inch diagonal with a punch hole at the top left. Underneath the punch hole, there is a room for an 8MP selfie camera sensor. While the screen has a 90Hz refresh rate support along with 180Hz touch sampling rate. Around the back, it has a rectangular-shaped camera module holding triple camera sensor an LED flashlight. Whereas, the camera sensors are of a 48MP main sensor and two 2MP auxiliary camera sensors of a depth & macro.
Under the hood, the system has been powered by the Snapdragon 480 SoC. Further, bundled with Adreno 619 GPU and 8GB of RAM while having 256GB as internal storage capacity. The system runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 OS while it is being fueled by a 5000mAh battery. Further, the handset capable charging at 18W speed.
In the connectivity department, the handset has 5G, Wi-Fi support. A USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, side-mounted fingerprint scanner. And other required sensors including GPS, Gyro, e-compass etc.
