As promised OnePlus has finally announced the companies cheapest smartphone in the budget smartphone segment. In the announcement, two smartphones from the company have been announced without a formal launch event. This includes OnePlus Nord N100 and Nord N10 5G. This series was been in the rumours for quite a long time, now the has lifted the curtain. Price and availability have been announced and unfortunately, this duo won’t be released in India report claims. Going by the Nord N100, this is the company’s cheapest smartphone. In terms of appearance, it has quite similarities to the Oppo A53. Anyway, let’s have an introduction to the phone.

OnePlus Nord N100 Features
The whole phone builts around in 164.9 x 75.1 x 8.5 (mm) dimensions with glass front and plastic back. While at the upfront, it built around an HD+ resolution LCD IPS display of size 6.52″ inch with a hole-punch cut at the top left corner. Besides, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Underneath the hole-punch, there it has an 8MP selfie camera sensor. While at the rear, there it has a rectangular-shaped camera module with an LED flash built into it and the fingerprint scanner. The camera module has a 13MP main camera sensor. Whereas it accompanied by two 2MP auxiliary camera sensors of depth and macro.
Under the hood, there it has an octa-core system from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460. That has been configured as 4x Kryo 240 at 1.8GHZ & 4x Kryo 240 at 1.6GHz CPU cores fabricated in the 11nm process. Further, it bundled with Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB of RAM. While it has 64GB inbuilt storage option and further it can be expanded with the help of a microSD card. The system on the phone runs on Oxygen OS10.5 based on Android 10 while it has been fueled by a 5000mAh battery. That draws power through 18W fast charging mechanism built with the phone.
As per the connectivity, it has 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity. Whereas, the rest options are including a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack and other required sensors including GPS, compass etc.
Price, storage and availability
The Nord N100 has arrived in a single storage option configured as 4GB+64GB. As well as it has a single colour option to choose Midnight Forest. As per the price tag, it has priced at £179 (around ₹17,200) and it will be available for purchase in the North Ameria and European markets.
