Two days after the launch of Realme X7 and the X7 Pro in China, the Realme 7 and 7 Pro launched in the Indian market today. The phone had gone through various leaks, the company had nothing to unveil but the price and availability. Anyways, the curtain has lifted from the device today, comes at a handy price than. We have been looking for a device with such configuration at that price point from along while. While in comparison to the predecessor the phone has not that far upgraded. It ships with lesser price, bigger battery, and better camera.

The successor of the Realme 6 comes in two storage variants configured in the 6GB-64GB and the 8GB-128GB. While the company has labelled the starting price from ₹14,999 (around $205) for the 6GB-64GB model for sure. Two colour options have been provided to choose from Mist Blue and the Mist White. The first sale of the phone is scheduled for September 10 at 12 PM IST this year. It will be available for purchase around the online retails such as Realme store(online) and on the Flipkart from the above date onwards.

Starting from the upfront, the phone is built around an FHD+ resolution IPS display of size 6.5″ inch with a punch hole at the top left. Besides, the screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio viewing experience up to 90.5% display along with a 90Hz refresh rate. That builts on the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Underneath the punch hole, there you have a 16MP selfie camera sensor. Around the back, there we have an array of a quad-camera sensor module vertically aligned. It consists of a 64MP SONY IMX682 main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor (119° coverage area), a 2MP B&W sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The main camera supports up to 4K video recording at 30fps while having slow-motion 720p videos at 240fps. Whereas the selfie camera has max 1080p video recording with 120fps slow-motion capture.

Under the hood, there we have recently announced MediaTek Helio G95 octa-core system. That combines 2XCortex-A76 at 2.05GHz & 6XCortex-A55 at 1.8GHz CPU cores fabricated in the 7nm process. Besides, it bundled with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU and LPDDR4x RAM alongside UFS 2.1 storage type support. Further, external storage expansion support is provided through the 3-in-one SIM card tray. The system on the phone runs on the Realme UI on the top of Android 10 out of the box. While the system draws power through a 5000mAh battery. That has the 30W fast charging mechanism built on the DartCharge technology.
