Samsung Galaxy M01s Soon To Launch In India, Samsung India Reveals

Back in June 2020, the Samsung Galaxy M01s was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website. The same phone now revealed on Samsung Indian’s support page with the same model number SM-M017F/DS. Thus, the phone could launch in India anytime soon. However, Samsung did not reveal anything but a storage variant. The various source suggests that the phone could be the rebranded version of Galaxy A10s. Since the Play Console lists the phone as “GalaxyM01sGalaxyA01s” which presumed to be the Galaxy M01s.

Samsung Galaxy M01s Features and Specs

According to the leaks of Play Console, the phone has a 720×1,520 HD+ display, an octa-core processor from MediaTek Helio P22, Android 9. Further, it coupled with 2GB RAM and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. And from other sources, the phone said to have a 4000mAh battery and 32GB onboard storage. The camera details are yet unknown, the Samsung India support page confirms the phone will have an additional variant of 3GB RAM.

The Galaxy A01s was launched in the previous year since the device is expected to be rebranded as Galaxy M01s lets have a brief introduction of the Galaxy A01s. The phone has a 6.2″ inches HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on top. Beneath the notch, there is an 8MP selfie camera sensor. while on the back, there is a dual-camera sensor of a 13MP camera and a 2MP camera. For the performance, Helio P22 backs the device with 3GB of RAM  and 4000mAh battery.

Price, Variant, and Availability

As the phone spotted on the Samsung India’s support page the phone could launch in India anytime soon. The Galaxy M01 was launched starting from ₹8,999, the Galaxy M01s is expected to cost lower than ₹10,000 in India. The phone will come under the entry-level segment. In the present situation, the anti-china sentiment rises day by day it will be a great opportunity for Samsung as an alternative to made in china phones.
