Samsung Galaxy M31s Could Feature 90Hz Display And Snapdragon 765G [RUMOR & RENDER]
Samsung Galaxy M31s is for those who skipped M31 because of Exynos 9611, some rumor suggesting M31s is on the way with many more improvements. Let’s have a recap of ditching Galaxy M31, there are many reasons for which people prefer Redmi Note 8 Pro. First of all, Samsung puts its own Exynos processor and leave no alternative option for Snapdragon processors. The same way it cobbled with Mali G72 GPU instead of Adreno GPUs. This slightly decreased the performance of M31 we were expecting more powerful CPU and GPU than M30. But Samsung made no improvement over the CPU and GPU unit.
Secondly considering its competitors, most of them providing 90Hz display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on both sides. While M31 featuring AMOLED screen but having normal 60Hz refresh rate which is kinda deal-breaker FPS game lovers.
Thirdly the memory department there is no option for 8GB RAM options and 15W charging which took almost 2 and a half hours of charging. These are the reason why most of the users look for an alternate option. But there is a RUMOR of M31s which bring improvements to the above-mentioned reasons.
Galaxy M31s Features & Specs
A YouTube user named Gadget Arena shares a RENDERED video of M31s describing its features and specs. So, Starting from the display it is 6.4″ inches of FullHD+ AMOLED Infinity U display, further improved by a 90Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with Adreno 620 GPU. However, he was unclear about the clock speed of the GPU he mentions 1.6GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processors. While I am guessing there will be 2.3GHz 4X Cortex-A75 CPUs and 1.8GHz 4X Cortex-A55 CPUs.
In the memory department, there is 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. I think considering the competition there will be 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage of UFS 2.1, further expandable via a microSD card.
As far as photography is concerned there will be the same camera set up used in M31. This set up best in class considering its competitors. There will be the same battery used in M31 but there could be 18W or 25W charging support. I would be happy if M31s could move its fingerprint sensor from rear to under-display or side shoulder.
As of now, I am clueless about the price but while keeping in mind that GST of the phone is hiked in India so, it could be 2K or 3K more than the previous model.
